Olivier Barot was born in 1961 and learnt photography in France where he also studied drawing. He became passionate about spirituality and India while he was still very young and he travelled there for almost a year in 1988.
In 1991 he moved definitely in south India and it is the spirit of this country that got him to pick up his camera again, after a gap of a few years.
From his home in Auroville, Olivier has grown as a designer, a filmmaker and a photographer. He has realized various documentaries, and exhibitions.
